Application of white masterbatch in the preparation of rubber
White masterbatch plays an important role in the production of rubber products, mainly used to provide a stable white appearance and improve rubber properties. White masterbatch is usually made of titanium dioxide (TiO ₂) as the main pigment, supplemented with dispersants and carrier resins to ensure good compatibility with rubber substrates.
Adding white masterbatch to rubber products can not only enhance their luster and color stability, but also improve their weather resistance and UV resistance. The high refractive index of titanium dioxide enables rubber products to maintain a bright white color and color consistency over long-term use, avoiding yellowing or aging issues. White masterbatch also has good dispersibility, ensuring that pigment particles are evenly distributed in the rubber substrate, thereby avoiding color difference.
White masterbatch is often used to produce high-quality rubber products, such as medical rubber gloves, sealing strips, gaskets, tire markings, etc. Especially in the fields of medical and food contact, the safety requirements for materials are extremely high, so white masterbatch needs to use non-toxic formulas that meet food grade or medical grade standards.
